The Auckland Education Expo proved great success for our Playm8 stand this year with huge interest from parents, teachers, kindergarten caregivers and enthusiastic children. The exhibition showcases everything educational to help benefit toddlers to teens, pre-school to high school students, education professionals and even parents.

During the expo, Playm8’s mission was to highlight the importance of active play as developing movement skills and co-ordination from a young age is essential in today’s society. Children are now becoming distracted by technology, instead of assisting their growth development with basic movements such as balance, reactions and motor skills.

Playm8 was able to demonstrate to teachers and parents that physical activities can be full of fun, as many children flocked to our stand keeping SPSS staff busy on their toes playing with children and showing them all the benefits of the Playm8 range. Free resources were also very popular with teachers, giving them additional ideas to make classroom P.E activities challenging but fun at the same time.
